Absinthe

Absinthe. Mendoza, Argentina. 24×30. A bright, chilly day. The streets, dry dusty. Winter. Across the railroad tracks, and there–in a splendor of everything green, it sits. Alone among the dry foliage and blue-faded car. Like the tea party of Alice fame, it offers pleasures for the head.
